Travelling with a Toddler
We've booked a trip to Grand Cayman in April'03. Taking our 18 month old son with us, and we have a car for 3 days. Any suggestions for great family activities ?
A toddler is about the only one who would not tire of the turtle farm. I've read about a garden area for children. The blowholes might be interesting for him. Most of all, sand toys on the beach.

Thanks for the ideas. The sand toys are already bought, and just waiting to be blown up !

My husband and I went to Grand Cayman in November for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It is so clean and safe. The water is so gentle. You will be able to take your son in the water with no worries. If you can, bring a float or rent one from your hotel. Have fun!

Thanks for your response Natalie. Hope you don't think I'm too nosey, but I was wondering where you stayed on Grand Cayman ? We're booked into the Sunshine Suites, and I've heard good things about it.

Have stayed at Sunshine Suites several times - it's a great place - I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Hi there,
I apologize for not getting back sooner. I just checked in and noticed your question for me. I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the Sunshine Suites. We stayed at the Westin for our honeymoon. We had a fabulous time. We've already planned our return trip there for our first anniversary. You will love Grand Cayman. It's really beautiful. If you get the chance, be sure to eat at Smuggler's Cove and Pappagallos. Have fun!
