Travel warning...mosquito fever on S t. Maarten

We go through St. Maarten on our way to Anguilla...do you have a first hand update on how severe the problem is...or will be. We are not going til February...and at this time we don't plan to cancel.

It's tropics. Sometimes it rains. After rain they'll come out. It can happen in Anguilla. They also love dusk.

Take or buy DEET (Off spray) spray before eating dinner if eating outside.

You Ll be fine on the beach without it

I read about this last week. Looks like your best bet is to use some kind of repellant.

Mosquitos are everywhere. In the islands, at home...you name it, they are there. They can cause serious health issues at home just like they can in the islands.

What do you use to keep them off you at home? Use it in the islands.....

I was just in St. Martin for a week, and used a local favorite repellent called "Mosquito Milk". It is available everywhere. I never got a single bite using it!
