Travel between the islands? Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Croix

What are some recommendations on how to get from San Juan to either St. Thomas or St. Croix? And, from St. Thomas to St. Croix? I can't find any direct flights from St. Thomas to St. Croix? Does anyone know if there are any? Are there any boats that can be taken for these routes?

no boats except horrifyingly expensive charter. not to mention unless you have a month or so you don't have time.

not staking my life, but don't think you can fly between st. thomas & st. croix. the closest would be st. croix to beef island, tortola, bvi using Liat Airlines and then ferry to st. thomas. or the reverse.
you can ferry very quickly (25mins from red hook or 45 from charlotte amalie) from st. thomas to st. john (or to any of the bvi's) if that would interest you.
airline for san juan to st.t or st.c is american.
(to st. croix is 50 mins or to st. thomas is 30 mins) cape air also flies sju to st. thomas

There use to be a "once a week" ferry from Fajardo to St. Thomas but I'm not sure it is still operating. Besides the trip takes about 5 hours and crosses a lot of open water making it an uncomfortable trip. Your best bet is to fly.

You can fly via American Eagle or Cape Air between San Juan and either St. Thomas and St. Croix. Go to their respective websites for schedules and fare info.

Seabourn Airlines flies between St. Croix and St. Thomas. I believe they also offer flights between those islands and San juan. Go to their website for more info.

www.flycapeair.com Seabourn and American Eagle all have fights

of various types no regular ferries I know of that work...

I used to fly the old WW2 SeaPlanes PBYs between the 2 harbors

pretty cool long gone now sad to say...also have flown small

private planes a lot down there but chaters are expensive.

Happy Hunting,

that is lots of fun fairly cheap from $85

if you can make the times work...
