Transportation between airport & hotel

We are leaving for Curacao May 5 and are undecided about renting a car for a full week. What is best means of transportation from airport to the Marriott? And what is appox. cost? Recommendations? Scooter or automobile? thanks! This is our honeymoon and we are middle-aged.
