Tobago in November

We are going to Tobago for Thanksgiving. Have reservations at Bellevista Apts. Anyone ever stay there or know anything about this place? How close is it to the beach? Is food expensive here?

Hope this reply reaches you before your holiday. We stayed at Bellevista last December for 2 weeks. It is close to the water as you can see the ocean across an expanse of grass. But it is not right on a "beach". Store Bay is adjacent, a short walk, which has a good beach, food kiosks, etc. Pigeon Point, a great beach, is just a short distance, can be walked, but most take a short bus ride. The Manager at the Bellevista and the fellow that lives on the property and takes care of everything are very nice and very helpful. There is a nice swimming pool, and a barbecue that can be used by guests. It is right next door to Sandy Point Hotel and Condos, great restaurant and bar "Man Fridays". The rooms are basic, clean, and the kitchen area is quite sufficient. It is right next to the airport, but the airport is not that busy, the noise factor is minimal. We rented a car as the island is very beautiful and we wanted to see as much as we could, but it is really not necessary. The bus service is good, there are tours. etc. Have a good trip.
