Tips for Tobago

If my passport arrives in time, I will be in Tobago in a couple weeks. Any tips on what to see, do, avoid on my trip?

Be sure you get up to the northern part of the island and see Speyside and CHarlottville. Tobago is very unspoiled but the roads were very good. There are some very nice hikes/nature walks you can do. Argyll Falls was very nice.

Tobago has the oldest nature reserve in the western hemisphere, so you may want to make a point of going there (hiking, waterfalls, birds, etc), also the nylon pool and snorkeling on the Buccoo Reef are fab. Speyside is great and make sure you have a plate of food from the treehouse restaurant - the seafood is from sea to plate.
Be very aware of security - don't leave stuff in your car, if there is a safe in your room, USE IT, don't go wandering off to deserted places. Common sense rules. If something doesn't feel right don't go.

Speyside is beautiful! Eat at the Speyside Inn if you have a chance. My husband and I went there for a honeymoon in 9/05. It is a very nice island.
