Timothy Beach Resort St Kitts

We live in the UK and have come across a fantastic deal for 7 nights in Timothy Beach Resort St Kitts for May 2016. Am trying to get a feel as to whether the location will suit my husband and I, both late 50s. I get the sense it's a "lively, party" area in South Frigate Bay. Whilst we are not decrepit,, we don't want to be in a location where we feel totally out of place and the wrong generation! We realise we don't have to be a prisoner in the resort and would probably hire a car and vist the environs. We like walking, cycling, restaurants and visiting historical sites. Am I being optimistic that we will "fit in" or should we consider ourselves "fish out of water" and go somewhere else?! Thanks.
