The very best restraunts in St. Lucia
We have heard great things about Dasheen and the coal pot but we were wondering what are some other "must see" restaurants in the northern part of St. Lucia. Any thoughts?

If you like the Caribbean-Asian fusion (beautiful food with interesting twists), I would recommend Tao at the Body Holiday at LeSport (fairly close to your villa I think) and The Edge in Rodney Bay.
Also, I didn't make it there, but the Rainforest Hideaway in Marigot Bay generally is considered to be very good.

The Great House in Cap Estate is very good. There's a Chinese Restaurant in Rodney Bay (I can't remember the name of it right now) that is also excellent. Big Chef Steakhouse is good if you're in the mood for steak. If you like seafood, go to fish night in Anse La Raye.

Two of my favourites
The Edge and Jacques Tropical Dining
Both very good and different.
Chic at the Royal is very good.
I was disappointed by the Rainforest cafe and think it not worth the trip unless staying nearby. It is expensive and the taxi drivers love to recommend it as they get a good fare. It is about 35 minutes drive from the Rodney Bay area.
