I asked the booking service through which we arranged our vacation to arrange for transfers from the airport to Le Sport in St. Lucia. They said that they do not arrange transfers because it is easy to get taxis from the airport to Le Sport, should take about 20 minutes to get there, and should cost about 25 dollars.
Does this sound about right?
Thanks in advance.

Beth, just got back from St. Lucia on Saturday. I assume you are flying into Castries Aiport. Yes, it's about a 20-30 minute drive and should cost about $25.00 to $30.00 USD, and yes just pay in US Dollars, don't bother to change in money. There are cabs at the airport. By the way if you snorkel or dive it's great right off the beach at Le Sport. Have fun!
Yes, that sounds about right if they're talking about Vigie airport in the north. Hewanorra airport in the south is about 90 minutes away by taxi and would cost much more. I can't comment on taxi availability but I would assume they're right. I've never been to an airport where taxi drivers weren't hanging out.
Well, whenever we've gone to LeSport arrangements were made with the travel agent and the transfers price was included, and the taxi got paid by LeSport. However, without an agent this year, it looks like we're going to pay for the taxi, which, is about right at $25, with a 1/2 hour ride from Vigie airport.
You might want to see if Letticia's Taxi is available; we also like Mr. Simon (his van is clean, and it's fun because he has faux animal print fur on the seats); he's a great guy, very personable.
Have a GREAT time at LeSport! Post when you can about the trip.
Yes. We are flying into Vigie. We are leaving the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the help!
