Suggestions for Tobago in January?

Having lived in Trinidad many years ago and visiting Tobago several times the best advice I have is to consult Fodor's trip planner however, I have personally stayed at private residences which were not beachside and also stayed at the Crown Reef close to Pigeon Point beach area which is the most popular----however there is a very good small hotel with good chef but the name escapes me (check the trip planner)---good scuba diving in Tobago and visit the Nylon Pool. Be sure to have a roti and rum punch!!!Yum.....
