St. Kitts - Fairview Inn

Has anyone stayed at the Fairview Inn in St. Kitts recently (1997?) - we we're there in 1995 just when it was changing hands (from Freddy Lam to the new owner) We were wondering if the reconstruction process is still going on, etc. Has it lost its friendly atmosphere?
