St. John or St. Barth for a honeymoon

We are trying to decide on a destination for our honeymoon, and have narrowed our choices to either Caneel Bay on St. John or St. Barth. Any suggestions?

Caneel bay is on sale under the Exclusive section of http://www.luxurylink.com

I am not sure if it is offered when you are going but it may be worth checking out.

Also, if you are going to St. Barth's Andrew Harper's Q Club offers discounts on several St. Barth properties.

I learned both of these because we just planned out honeymoon and looked at both places.

Good luck

We are really interested to know which island people have preferred based on its beauty, restaurants, shopping, and intimacy. Any comments?

Sean,
My husband and I went to St. Barth in July for our honeymoon. I did a lot of research and chose St. Barth b/c it to be seemed to be the best ... quiet, intimate hotels, georgeous beaches, excellent restaurants, not too touristy safe, and small. We were extremely pleased with our decision - St. Barth is truly a classy island. Can't wait to go back.

Hi Sean,

My husband and I just came back from St. Barth's. Although it was not our honeymoon, we both said it would be perfect for a honeymoon. We thought it was beautiful and the food was excellent! Kind of expensive (well very expensive) but definitely an excellent experience. Make sure you eat at Mandala's! Amazing view and delicious food!
