Trip Report St. John - bug warning

Jump to last reply

My husband and I just got back from St. John. It was our first time there. If anyone is going there, put bug spray on as soon as you arrive! We made the mistake of walking around the resort when we got there, in the mid afternoon, and had not sprayed ourselves yet. BIG MISTAKE! I am covered with extremely itchy bites.
We stayed at Caneel Bay, which was a nature lovers paradise. We really enjoyed the resort and the grounds and seeing the donkeys, deer and mongoose wandering around.
