St. Croix in September
Hello! We have booked a 5 day trip to St. Croix in September. As I understand it, this is the off-season and therefore many restaurants/shops may be closed.
With this in mind, are there any recommendations for restaurants/activities during this time? We are going early September and really, really praying for a mild/non-existent hurricane season!!!
Thanks in advance.

Which end of the island are you staying on? Even in off season a good portion of C'sted will still be open, but F'sted is liable to be closed down unless there is a cruise ship in port. If you have never been to Croix before, you should probably take a day trip over to Buck Island. If you are divers, the diving off of Cane Bay is great and the dive shops will be open regardless of season. If you golf, the Carambola course is pretty challenging. Rent a car (or a jeep) and drive through the rain forest and find the Domino Club (everyone should drop by there at least once in their life). The Cruzan Rum factory should be open and hosting tours, and it is a lot of fun. We usually go to the North Shore (Cane Bay area) to stay and play, and our favorite bars and restaurants stay open year round because they are mostly geared to locals. No wrong answers!
