St. Barts or Guadeloupe with a three year old

We are looking to go to the French caribbean this summer (we both speak a reasonable amount of French). We will however, have our three year old with us. She is a good traveler so that in general won't be a problem. Any one have comments on whether St. Barts or Guadeloupe would be better traveling with our daughter. Also, any hotel suggestions?

All assistance will be appreciated.
