Please help me - I don't know where to stay. I'm debating between Eden Rock, Sereno Beach, Filao Beach, or Village St. Jean. Please don't say Carl Gustaf or Le Toiny or the higher end hotels - this is only one week of our honeymoon (we go on to St. Kitts & Nevis) - and must keep spending in check. Any help would be much appreciated!

Sereno Beach has a great location with at least 4 restaurants within walking distance and acess to an assortment of water sports on a great section of beach (tends to be windy) and from what I understand also has great honeymoon packages. Eden rock is a little eclectic and not as private. Filao beach is next door to Eden rock and is also a little busy and St Jean is across the street and up he hill from the beach, although I believe its the least expensive.
You can get (relatively) moderately priced accommodations at Village St. Jean or El Sereno. VSJ is just across the road (and up a hill) from St. Jean, the island's most popular beach, and there are restaurants, snacks, bars and shopping within easy walk (in addition to its own good restaurant). El Sereno is a nice place with its own good restaurant & bar, on a quiet bay with calm waters. About 10 mins drive from St. Jean and other nice beaches. It's own beach is narrow but the waters are nice.
Either of these would be a good bet.
