Anna: You are going in peak season to one of the most expensive islands so you will have to scale down your expectations. I stayed at the St. Barth's Beach Hotel in Grand Cul De Sac earlier this year and this hotel would fit in with your budget. It's not fancy, but I thought it was a very good moderate hotel. It's on the beach and each room has a nice balcony with ocean view. Good luck.
Baie de Anges is a lovely little hotel (10 rooms) right on the best beach in St. Barts (Flamands beach). It is clean, very comfortable and has spectacular ocean views. It is right down the beach from one of the best and priciest hotels in St. Barts, Hotel St. Bart's Ile de France. We went off-season, but it should still be in your price range in February. Have fun!
