Spring Break 2016 --- Is the Caribbean for us?

We just got back from 10 fabulous days in Hawaii and I am already thinking ahead to Spring Break 2016. Wondering if the Caribbean is where we should head next year. This is our wish list....condo or villa with access to tennis courts, good snorkeling (shore snorkeling is great but not a must-have), beaches for boogie boarding. Hiking, cultural activies/sites to explore, basketball courts are also great but not must-haves. I was thinking of St. John but there doesn't appear to be good waves for boogie boarding there. Puerto Rico? We have been to the Cayman's before so would like to try something new. Same with Costa Rica.

I am wondering if we should just head back to Mexico where we have gone in the past. It works for us but I was hoping for something new this trip.
