Spice Island Inn

I checked Spice Island Inn's web site to see what their rates are (planning to go in early December). Even in off season, cheapest rooms are $430 per night. Wow.

Since Grenada is not one of the more popular islands, I'm at a loss as to where to find package deals for this hotel. The travel agent I tried didn't know anything about the island. Also tried applevacations.com. Anyone know where to look?

If you find a cheap dela to Spice Island Inn - email me ! I don't think one exists. It has always been expensive and probably always will be. I believe that price includes breakfast and dinner tho - if I remember correctly so thta needs to be figured in. We went April 24th after the prices drop (April 15th)...and it was still expensive. We didn't regret one penny of it tho....loved it ! (PS - we went with BRIAN MOORE TOURS at the time - not sure if they still are in business)

Air Jamaica Vacations has good package deals to Grenada - but of course, the Spice Island Inn will still be expensive. For a less pricey hotel on the same stretch of beach, you might consider the Coyaba or Grenada Grand (and there are others).

$430 PER NIGHT PLUS BREAKFAST AND DINNER FOR 2??YOU THINK THAT'S EXPENSIVE?? I CHECKED OUT THE SIGHT TOO AND I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY REASONABLE FOR WHAT EVERYONE ON THIS BOARD CALLS THE BEST PLACE ON GRENADA..COMPARE THAT TO $525 A NIGHT AT CANEEL BAY OR CAP JULUCA WITH NO MEALS!!!

Jo,

I didn't realize that price included breakfast and dinner for 2. That makes a difference. Thanks for pointing that out.

Hi,

Not sure where you live but we are planning on going on a package to Grenada from Toronto Canada. It may be worth it to fly to Toronto and pay in Canadian dollars for the Spice Island Inn. (e.g. a Feb. departure for one week including all meals, activities, etc. is @ 2100 U.S. including airfare from toronto).

Try looking for packages through Air Jamaica Vacations, American Airlines Vacations, Gogo Worldwide Vacations or Travel Impressions.
P.S. Brian Moore Tours are still around.

Lisa,

I am interested in Spice Island and am also in Toronto. Who did you book through to get the pricing you mentionned?
