I'd like to know how the snorkelling is in
either Barbados or Grenada and what some of
the prime locations may be? We may be going
to one or both of these islands in April.
Thanks.

Peggy - Snorkeling in Barbados is best along the west coast where the Caribbean is calm. There are bits of reef off most beaches, but some areas are better than others. There's a very good location that is way up on the north end of the west coast, where SinBad, a day cruise takes you. There's also an underwater park called Folkstone, and a good spot right off Bomba's beach bar. There are also a couple of shipwrecks that are shallow enough for snorkelers - one right in Carlisle Bay.
Thanks Cathy,
That sounds great. We're hoping to
do one of the small cats day cruises.
I've heard you can swim with turtles.
