Snorkeling in Anguilla
Where is the best snorkeling in Anguilla? We are going back again in November. Last year, we snorkeled off the beach at Shoal Bay East but wonder if a boat trip offshore would be better. Is Scilly Cay good snorkeling or all about the rum punches and party atmosphere ( not that there's anything wrong with that! ).
Thank you!!
Thank you!!

The best snorkeling from the beach is at Shoal Bay East. Little Bay is good too. To get there go to Crocus Hill and look for Calvin. He will take you by boat for about $10 round trip. You might consider taking a day sail/ snorkeling cruise on Chocolat. You go to Prickly Pear and Sandy Island. You can contact them at [email protected]. The other option is to do a snorkel trip with JR. He has a boat and hangs out at Shoal Bay East near Uncle Ernies

The of shore snorkeling is better. Jr can Take you up on the direction of Scrub Island or a lot of other places. He knows where the good reefs are. Never snorkeled at Scilly Cay but might be worth a try. We just go for the rum punches lobster and party.

Just heard that Shoal Bay Water sports at Shoal Bay East is going to reopen. It is located in front of Ku' (Old Shoal Bay Beach Hotel) They will be offering snorkel and scuba trips. Might be worth cheacking out.

I'd also recommend a day sail on Chocolat w/Captain Rollins. He takes you to two offshore islands with great snorkelling. And he was a charming host who will entertain you with stories during the sail and a lovely lunch.
