Hello all,
I'm not sure if there are small boutique hotels in Trinadad! but if anyone knows of a nice small hotel this would be great. I have no idea of the prices of hotels there, so any suggestions are welcome, but we are not budget travellers.

If you want 5-star boutique style hotel in Trinidad, then check out the Iberostar Gran Hotel Trinidad. It only has 40 rooms total but it's elegant and in a tremendous location directly across from Parque Central. Historic old town Trinidad is a very short walk of a few blocks away.
Here's the info.....
Calle José Martí 262

Oh, and here's a hint for exploring Trinidad. Wear GOOD walking shoes as the entire old town is cobbled streets and you need to have good shoes for comfort.
Just to wet your appetite, here's a quick slideshow of images from my last trip to Trinidad. Wonderfully photogenic town.
