Secluded/ Family Beaches?

Hello,
I am totally overwhelmed! I want to start planning a family vacation for either 2008/2009 but, I am at a loss as to wear to start. I am hoping I can get some help....
Here is what I am hoping for..
I would like to rent a villa/home (not a hotel/motel etc) on a safe,friendly, beautiful, blue watered beach. Couple more things: I would like the beach to be un-crowded . Money is of an issue. Thanks in advance!
