Searching for Grand Beach Resort

We are planning a trip to St.Thomas for a few days after a cruise and wanted to stay at a resort called Grand Beach Resort which we stayed at about 10 years ago. Can't find it. Does any one know if it has changed names. It was in walking distance of Coki Beach. Also there was a great local restaurant right outside the gate that served fantastic local dishes. Can any one help. Thanks.

Unfortunatley Grande Beach has been closed for awhile. Wyndham recently purchased it to turn it into a timeshare property but nothing seems to be doing.
Are you thinking of Toad & Tart? Trying to think what's local there ... and across the street
There are still some of the villas/condos on the property that are occupied and others are rented out if you are really stuck on returning there - Pineapple Village but thinking that beach services would be limited.
Might want to check Secret Harbour or the Ritz for a substitute since you'd still be on East End ...

Thanks for the info. I was afraid it had gone condo or timeshare. I think the restaurant had a lady's name, or maybe I'm just losing my memory!

LOL ... me too! Took me this long to think of Eunice's. Drove me a little crazy this afternoon. It was a must but has been gone awhile - maybe 8 years, I'm guessing! Two other places tried to make it there but just didn't. You'll be surprised at the changes in Red Hook with lots more dining choices but no "local cooking" like Eunice had it was special.
