Going to Varadero and deciding between Sandals or Paradisus. We've heard Paradisus feels like a 5 star and is beautiful, but we may be able to get a better deal w/ Sandals combined w/ a Havana trip. We will likely (even w/ the heat) want to do all our eating and drinking outdoors, so we'd prefer the place that offers more outdoor bars and dining. Even though we may not be in our room that often, I'm a little obsessed w/ hotel rooms, bathrooms and a nice view (whether it's ocean or lagoon). We'd also prefer to be at an adults only resort, so if Paradisus is known to be swarmed w/ kids, it may not be for us. We'd really like the more intimate, chilled resort (we got married at Nassau Sandals and loved it, but felt it was a little cheesy). I know we're VERY particular, but this could be our last trip for a WHILE!
