Our biggest concern was the huge size of this resort, and that turned out not to be a problem. Buses run every three minutes from the Riviera (beachfront) side to the newly renovated Ochi Beach Club (next door), to the hillside Manor area. We discovered walking was not a problem, and as my husband said "Everywhere you turn, you find something unexpected and beautiful."
Service and food were excellent. The staff, in addition to our Concierge, Lennox, and our travel agent, Amy McHugh of DreamMakersVaca.com helped make this one of our favorite Sandals resorts.
The beaches are broken up and not as wide as you'll find at some resorts. But unless you demand a long stretch of beach, this should work for you. (See photos in link below.)
Sandals Grande Riviera is certainly on our Must Return list.
The link below will take you to the combination of three photo pages (100+ photos) plus a detailed resort review as well as a review of 10 dinner restaurants.
