Samana - Dominican Republic Help

Jump to last reply

I am going to Samana this February for 7 nights (first time in Samana). We are a family of 4 (kids 8 and 4) and thought that an apartment style hotel could work well for us. I saw two Hotels in Terrana that seem to be well located: La Dolce Vita and the Albachiara hotel. I also saw a property called Balcones del Atlantico but seems to be in a remote location. I don't mind renting a car for a couple of days to explore but don't want to be driving 30 minutes everyday to have dinner. Regarding budget $150 to $300 night would work for us.

Anybody familiar with any of the mentioned Hotels? Is the beach near these hotels decent? Any other recommendations where to stay?

Thank you!
