sailing/snorkling excursions with kids

We will be traveling to Puerto Rico in March with our two daughters, ages 7 and 5. We are interested in a daytrip to one of the smaller islands, are are curious if there are any of the group excursions that would be appropriate for the girls. I'm looking at the East Island Excursions tours, and their website says kids of all ages are welcome, but I don't want our girls or other passengers to feel uncomfortable. Would this be a good way to experience some of the smaller islands, or are there other approaches we should consider? We will be staying near Fajardo.
