Sailing Trip
Contemplating a week's vacation on a sailboat with my wife and two chrildren(Boy-15 and Girl 17) exploring the Grenadines. Have not sailed in years so thinking about hiring captain and cook. Would like to do it over the kids' March School Vacation.Trying to keep the cost to about $4000.Does anyone have any thoughts where to begin?

Cruising in the Grenadines is a fab vacation, and personally, I would recommend the captain and cook though it does increase the cost a bit. Also, if anyone might be seasick, a cat is much more stable and roomy. There are links to several yacht charter companies in the Grenadines, BVI and Caribbean generally here:

Hope it's helpful.

www.caribbeantravelforums.com look under the heading for St. Vincent and Grenadines. Also I thinkk there is 2 other web sites concerned with sailing usual suspects and Scuba Mom both of which are on the SVG web site.
