Restaurant locations in Anguilla

We have never stayed in Anguilla, just visited for a day when we were in SXM.

Are there restaurants within walking distance to the popular hotels like Cuisinart and Cap J or do you need to take taxi's?

There are no restaurants witin walking distance of those resorts (except, of course, those that are on resort property).

If you want to dine at any of the islands better known restaurants plan on having a rental car or taking taxis. Anguilla is not an island that you can see by walking anywhere.

And if you are not very very good at reading maps and figuring out which road you are on without the help of road signs you could be spending a lot of time touring the island!

We have dining info for Anguilla here http://www.caribbean-on-line.com/isl...a-dining.shtml
with the island broken down by broad geographic locations. You will need a car, but I think the island is pretty easy to navigate (small, flat, and not that many roads to get lost on!). We had no problem finding the restaurants we wanted to try.

From Cuisinart you could walk to The Dune Preserve, which sells lunch. It is literally next door to Cuisinart. I have read that Dale Carty of Tastys is now the chef there so should be good.
From Cap Juluca you can walk to Smokeys on the Cove. On Saturdays there is live music by the Musical Brothers at lunch time.
