Resort villa suggestions

Hello -

I am looking for resort villas suggestions. I have a family of five and looking for a villa on a resort (like the villas at The Westin St. John). I would consider the Caymans, Jamaica, Turks, Bahamas, BVI, etc. any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Tell us more, what kind of budget? What time of year? What do you like to do on vacation?

We are traveling at the end of March. Ideally, I would like to spend $5-7K for the week.

If this march, peak season, much of the better properties are already sold out.

Your budget works better May thru November, as March is most expensive time of year.

I thought of Half Moon in Jamaica, but it's $1800 plus taxes a night
Sandals in Exumas but it's $2000 nightly and couples only
beaches Resort has this: http://www.vrbo.com/507708. But you have to buy day passes to use Beaches facilities ($1200 nightly)

I could go on but this will be the same for everything

However, there are plenty of resorts with 3 bedrooms in Turks and Caicos, more like condos than villas. They'll be a little over your budget, but close.

Or travel in the off peak to stay in your budget.

Thanks a ton for the response. Yeah - it is for spring break. I have been checking for months and the prices haven't moved. I haven't been to the Turks before...many activities for kids?

Prices aren't going to be lower, Feb thru April is usually sold out, so no one has to discount

Every kid I've taken to TCI has loved it. Stuff to do? All is water based, snorkel, kayak, SUPs, hobie cats, banana boats, parasail, and endless beaches. There are kids clubs with activities.

Not many shops, mostly upscale restaurants, but very family friendly (not spring break atmosphere) as for enough to do with kids, only you can know that!

8-)

There are also boat excursions that are a blast too-- check out Island Vibes and Caicos Dream Tours (island Vibes has a roof diving board, they love it!)
