Can anyone tell me anything about staying at the Regal Beach Club in Grand Cayman? We've stayed a few other places but are considering this one for Aug 2003.

I visited friends that stayed at Regal Beach Club over the holidays. They loved it and plan to go back. However, it wasn't my cup of tea. Part of their beach had washed away(they're next door to Marriot)so I would have been extremely disappointed. To walk north on 7Mile Beach, one had to 'swim' past 2 spots to get back on a walkable area. The resort itself is well maintained and convenient to use Marriot's facilities(restaurants, watersports).
