Could someone recommend a villa that they stayed in during their vacation in St. Barts? Prefer 1 or 2 bedroom villa. What was your experience with the villa rental company? Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your input however there's too many choices of villas that's why I wanted to know personal experience from your stay in a specific villa! Appreciate any info.
We have loved BOR (St. Jean) and GEA (Petit Saline), both 3 bedrooms that we rented for a 1 bedroom price. Both have indoor and outdoor living rooms, beautiful beds with great linens, very well-equipped kitchens. We enjoyed SBH, a 2 bdrm.(St. Jean), though found it not as private, CHO, a 3 bdrm. is private, very high up but not as luxe as others. It's a bit older. All were rented through Wimco.
We rented through St. Barts Properties and found them wonderful.
We did not stay in a traditional "villa" (i.e. a house), but had a great place with an awesome ocean view, large deck with hammock, even larger private sun deck, outdoor kitchen and dining area, outdoor living area, small 1 bedroom, and large, large bathroom. It was more than enough for the 2 of us, and we were within walking distance to St. Jean beach and several restaurants and shops.
The name of where we stayed was Village St. Jean. They have a website.

ive rented villa avril and it is very nice. 2br/2ba, though i believe there is a 1br/1ba option. convenient to st jean and gustavia with pool and privacy. i think you may rent it through any of the local agents

We returned from St. Bart's in November. The villa we rented through St. Barth Properties was named Atalante. It was located in Pointe Milou which is in the tony section close to Le Ti restaurant and bar. It ranges in price from 2500 (low) to 3500 (high). The view was incredible, set high up on the cliffs. I would highly recommend it for privicy and luxury. It is only one bedroom and the pool is not that big, but it worked out great for the two of us. Hope this helps.

We have been here three nights. the
first two dinners at la mandala and at du Brasil, while of a different type from each other, were just magnificent. Friendly, excellent food, comfortable service. Cannot recommend anything more highly. Le Sapotillier was something different: the classic French diffidence. The food not bad but hardly worth the price--far better French cuisine is available in Chicago for a fraction of the cost--and an attitude...ooh la la. At each of the restaurants we were offered morsels courtesy of the chef, and a liquer as well. Considering that the three of us were dropping $150 at Brasil, $250 at Mandala (three lobster dinners, wine etc.)that was to be expected but appreciated nonetheless. At Sapotillier, indeed a morsel was offered at the beginning of the meal. And then my wife was offered a Sauterne with her pate, with the same words, it was quite a shock to find that that was a $13 charge at the end of the evening. The famous chicken was hardly $33 for two legs! and the turkey - a turkey for similar amount quantity and cost. Considering that the wine was quadruple key stoned --i.e. not two or three times its price, but four times. We think these people quite a bit greedy.
