We found Bonaire unique. Splendid coral reefs and diving, but minimal beaches. A tidy Dutch island that is not overdeveloped but an adequate array of restaurants and resorts. Its main appeal is as a famed scuba diving destination. Also a good wind surfing bay.
Three pretty good diving resorts: Captain Don's, Buddy Dive Resort and Sand Dollar Condominiums
Pretty good restaurants: Croccantino, Rendezvous, Zee Zicht and Den Leman.
