Priceline - Caribbean?????
Hi---just wondering if anyone has ever done a priceline bid outside the US? I've bid and have been successful in the U.S. but have never tried anything else. Thought I'd post here before trying. Thanks!

If I read Priceline's "fine print" correctly, they don't promise to get you to your destination on the same day you leave for non-domestic itineraries.
This would appear to mean you could get stuck overnight somewhere en route to the Caribbean (and/or on the way back).
This is the reason I've only used Priceline within the continental US.
Am I crazy, or does anyone else interpret their rules the way I do?

cdt: I'm guessing that you're talking about non-domestic airflights? I don't know 'cus I've never bid for a flight thru priceline. I actually posted my question re: lodging only. But it would be interesting to see if that is true concerning airflights.

Last year I used Priceline for the Westin resort in St. John. I got it for $75 a night. You should definitely check out the Caribbean message boards on biddingfortravel.com to read about other people's winning bids with Priceline.
