Post Christmas to Mid January Getaway For Two

My boyfriend and I know we want to get away to an island with great weather, amazing beaches, and adventure!

Our potential dates are between December 27th- January 10th

We do not need a five star resort, but we do want something nice.

We are open to doing all inclusive or just finding a nice island, then area, then resort.

we are 25 and 30 years old.

We did a cruise to Mexcio, belize and honduras last year. I would like to do something totally different!

English or Spanish speaking would be best.

I am only to any and all suggestions! Please list any Isands, Resorts, or Areas you suggest.

Thank you!

What sort of budget are you talking about?

I'm not the expert that others are (and who will post later I'm sure), but that is the high/most expensive season in the Caribbean

the only way to spend under $4000 is to travel Jan 3-10, and pick between DR and Mexico

NYE is most expensive time of year everywhere and pretty much already sold out

You can check a wholesaler place like Apple tours or Costco or Travelzoo, but at this stage picks are slim

Does the $4000 need to cover two airfares?

And that needs to cover expenses for two people for everything?

Where are you starting from (home airport)?
