Was just talking to a coworker regarding Bermuda. He stayed there for his honeymoon - Pompano Beach and HIGHLY recommends it. You made an awesome choice.

Just curious Sharon, did you get a good rate? My husband and I are looking to visit, but Bermuda seems a bit pricy. Please let me know.

Thanks

Susan,
Thanks for the feedback about Pompano. My husband and I are going 8 days including air (from NY).transfers, breakfast, dinner, all taxes ,gratuities and deluxe room for $4600 total. I did not think that was too bad. I do not know how this price compares to others but it seemed fair so we booked it.

I recently stayed at Pompano and thought it was very nice. I was in an ovean front room and the view is beautiful. The property is conveniently located on the island. Staff was friendly. I think you can dine at other restaurants with your plan. I only ate at the Pompano as I was just there two nights. Dinners were very good. Have a nice trip. Bermuda is a wonderful place.

Pompano isa very nice place to stay..the setting is superb, the meals are excellent, and it a smaller hotel comapred to the Pricesses and the Sonesta...The beach and swimming are fantastic..beautiful sandy bottom that at certain tides you can wade out forever. The location however is not very convenient and that is the main draw back. It is in the distant western part of the island and the complaint I have heard from some who stay there is that it is just too far out. If you like golf, Port Royal is my favorite course on the island..you will love it..and it is certainly more reasonable than the semi private courses...lots of great views from the course..and the 8th green is adjacent to Pompano..anyway..you will enjoy..I lived in Bda for 20 years....

I went to www.pompanobeachclub.com & while it does look interesting there appears to be not much of a beach there! Any comments?
