I realize I'm talking about 2 different islands but I'm undecided and looking for help. I'm trying to get away for only 3-4 days and don't want to be stuck on a plane and ferry for half of the trip. I've been to other islands but never here. So, I'm trying to decide whether to go to the Ocean Club on Paradise Island or Point Grace in T & C. I'm looking for privacy and luxury. BTW, does anyone know if topless bathing is permitted on either island?

I would highly recommend The Ocean Club in the Bahamas. Everything from the service to the accomodations were first class. You will not be disappointed!
I have not been to Point Grace so I have no comparision to make.
Good Luck with your choice!
I would second the Ocean Club as a wonderful destination. Beautiful, excellent service and overall luxury all the way.
Topless is frowned upon, in the Bahamas, it is not a problem on some of the more european islands, like St. Marten.
You might also look into Pink Sands on Harbour Island, smaller resort right on a beautiful beach, and easier to get to, a short flight or ferry ride from Nassau. www.pinksands.com It is owned by Chris Blackwell of Island Records, as is Compas Point on Nassau. Which would be another resort you might look into.
Have a good time.
