Plaza Resort Bonaire

Planning a trip to Bonaire the third week in Sept.
Can anyone tell me anything about the Plaza Resort?
What can my wife do while I am diving all day?
What kind of shopping, etc., is available?

Bonaire is a divers island...there is no shopping.
The Plaza will have a little gift/tshirts store
but that will be about it...when you say shopping,
I'm presuming you mean other than for scuba equipment....to give you an idea of the island, there are not traffic lights....one main road that
goes around the entire island...almost.

I'd say, if you wife isn't into water sports then
you'd better prepare her...on the other hand you'll have a terrific time diving. The food is excellent
regardless of where you eat and the locals are super
friendly. Can I ask? Where are you flying from?
Is the flight non-stop and how long a flight? I'm
curious as I live in Canada and Sunquest only offered a direct flight from Toronto once, 2 years
ago.
