Players Choice Tours to Aruba?

My nearly 90-year-old FIL got a flier from this company and wants to book a trip to Aruba. Has anyone used this company for their trip to Aruba? The price is a good few hundred less than anything else I can find for him and MIL. Thanks!

Weadles, do you have the web site for Player's Choice? I've been googling it and I'm having a heck of a time finding them. Thanks.

Here's their info:

Players Choice tours, Inc. Toll free: 1-800-79-ARUBA.

A note of caution: Their packages are non-refundable, so keep this in mind if you book and/or consider travel insurance.

Hi Weadles,

Just FYI Player's Choice has merged with MCM Tours. It sounds like the rules have changed since this merger, as the package isn't completely non-refundable until 7 days before travel. They are offering the best deal I can find so I will book with MCM/Player's Choice.

It is confirmed that MCM and Player's have merged. I just made my booking and here's what we got:

7 nights at the Radisson
Free buffet breakfast daily
$200 beverage credit
$100 match play chips
$25 spa credit
Transfers from the airport included

This is non-refundable within 7 days of the trip, however dates can be changed if the trip needs to be postponed. We made a $200 deposit up front and the rest will be due 40 days before departure.

Total price including taxes and fees:

<drumroll please>

$1,560!! As mentioned above, the remaining $1,360 will be due later.

I am happy.

Hi jmestyle, I spoke with Ursula but I'm sure anyone there can help. They are only open weekdays 9-6 Eastern Time. They can book airfare too but we are using award tickets so we did hotel only.

So glad it worked out for you, P_M! Just make sure you check ALL the details carefully. I didn't do that, which is unusual for me, and some of the reservations for our family reunion were done incorrectly.

For 7 nights? That's not a big difference in price from the garden view, maybe we will call back and upgrade. Thanks for the scoop.

MCM Tours had the website of www.aruba4u.com When I checked that site it won't come up. I get a message of "this site may harm your computer".

Is there another site and not just a phone number? We are debating between Mexico and Aruba for December. If I can find a great/excellant deal to Aruba than we are going there. If not, then back to Mexico.

P_M, its for 6 nights. The time you go could also make a diff. I'm going late June

KVR - The same thing was happening to me, not sure why. Instead of clicking on the link in the post above, manually type in the web address in your toolbar, that seems to work for me

I got the same message by typing in the web site and this makes me very nervous. I emailed and ask what's going on with their web site, but they don't work weekends. If I don't hear from them Monday morning I will call.

I'm getting the same message also typing in the web address. If you find out anything please post.

We are looking at Amsterdam Manor. I'm not sure MCM offers that hotel anymore.

Does anyone know if the Radisson is still offering the breakfast and alcohol drink special? Or is that the same as what P_M posted. I found at one time it was like $69 p/p per day for full breakfast and unlimited drinks.

There was no mention of unlimited drinks but we are getting the daily breakfast.

I think through MCM you will always get that $200 beverage credit and daily breakfast (it won't expire)

I am able to get into the site but only by manually typing in the address

When I call Monday I will ask about the drinks. If that is being offered then we can decide if it's worth it for us.
