Plantana

Can anyone recommend a nice 2 bedroom condo at Plantana? I know they're all different, but would appreciate any info from past guests. Thanks!

We stayed @ Plantana last spring break & went with a garden view which was a huge mistake! The noise from the street at night was crazy but then again we are light sleepers! We love Plantana though but it's worth the extra dollars to have peace and quiet at night.

Cayman420~~
Thanks for the response. I read it right AFTER booking a groundfloor, gardenview unit today! What timing on my part!
I booked the garden because it's $100 less per night, and don't want to overspend because we're going to Hawaii in August. We're not light sleepers, but don't want a lot of noise either. Was it ALL night long or just until a certain time?
Also, could you please tell me which unit you had, what level, and how the furnishing was?
They wouldn't tell me what unit we'll have-just that it will be ground level and has a king and a queen bed in the bedrooms.
I really appreciate your feedback. you're the omly person I've heard from who has stayed in a garden unit!

I honestly don't remember the unit number, sorry. We had a second floor unit, the condo was great but the traffic at night! We asked for a bedroom unit ground floor but were given a 3bedroom unit on the second floor. I've also stayed in the 1 bedroom garden unit and it was fantastic, no noise at all. The garden units are located in a lovely garden setting. I believe they have two garden areas, we stayed on the left hand side as you would eneter the office upon check in. I wouldnt say the noise was all night but until the bars were closed and it is people from West Bay going home.
You will have a great time, good luck!

Is there adequate shade/umbrellas for guests at the pool and on the beach at Plantana? Thank you also for the information about the garden view. I will definitely book an ocean view instead.

We stayed at Planata in April and stayed in unit #34, garden view and it was great, no noise and even my son loved it! I made the error of wanting to save a little money and booked elsewhere, upon arrival I was horrified and called Plantana immediately and Maric put us in #34 unit. I can never say enough how much I love that place!
