Peter Island, The Beach House, Jumby Bay or Kamalame Cay?
The Diva is gearing up for the next Caribbean adventure. Would like to go someplace different before venturing back to my favorites this year. So far I have LOVED Parrot Cay, Meridian Club, Cap Juluca, and One & Only Ocean Club.
The Diva has appreciated all the input on this board and welcomes thoughts from those that can compare any of the above destinations to those I like. Prefer smaller resorts, private islands, privacy, long & soft beach/clear water, and upper-scale accommodations without kids.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks All!

P.S. Still considering the Maldives for a longer trip later in the year.

We went to The Beach House Barbuda last Feb and enjoyed it. Believe I have a trip report posted on this site. Do a HowardC search. Barbuda has one town Codrington and a population of about 1800. Only three resorts on the island.
Beach house totally laid back. Very good food and service. They don't have a full spa yet but massages are offered.
No TV in rooms although portable dvd players are available. Great Beach. Accomodations probably not as plush as the others you mentioned but very nice. I would probably split time between Beach House and Jumby. check out www.luxurylink.com best buys for Beach House packages.

HowardC and Diva: I hope you don't mind my jumping in here. I'm curious to know abt Luxurylink.com. Do you do the "auction" thing-- or the other part? I know I'd not feel comfortable with the auction aspect, but those very good places in the Caribbean are so expensive that I'd sure love to find a way to get good discounts. Thanks for any in-put on that question.

I have always had excellent experiences with Luxury Link auctions. Have won auctions for Jamaica Inn, The Beach House Barbuda, Wyndham Martineau Bay Vieques, Coral Gardens Provo and most recently The Blue Haven Hotel in Tobago. Luxury Link is a very professional operation with very nice properties. Of course you have to do your homework, Research the property, look at rates evaluate worth of package and establish your bid limit. If you lose out one week it is likely the property will appear again within a week. Downside--Your credit card gets charged when you win.
