passport book or passport card necessary?

Jump to last reply

I am considering going to Grand Bahama island. I live in the southeastern United States. I'm thinking about taking a ferry from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Bahama since it's so close. Here's my question. Do I have to have a passport book or passport card to do this? I'm a inexperienced traveler and will be going solo for some beach time and fun for a few days. Thanks.
