Help! My husband and I can not decide where to stay Oualie Beach Hotel or Nisbet Plantation Beach Club. Which has a better beach, sunset, service and less crowds. We want a laid back and relaxed place that has a good food and a good bar. We will be there for 10 days in November.
Thanks for your help

We stayed at Nisbet Plantation in summer 2000 and loved it! Great food (5-course meal every night with great atmosphere preceded by wonderful drinks and snacks), wonderful service, very attentive and personal. Right on a very quiet beach (we were often the only people there - mind you, this was in July). The only negative I can think of is that sometimes the beach could be a bit windy. You can't go wrong with this hotel, it's great.
i agree wholeheartedly with sally. we stayed at nisbet in the summer of 2001. the beach is very pretty, but it's very rocky once you get into the water. i'm a water bug and that's my only complaint.
we went diving and left from oualie beach one day, so i got a quick look at oualie. frankly, it's very "laid back". probably great for those who want to dive every day (there's a dive shop on the property) and need a very reasonable place to stay. to me, there's no comparison between nisbet and oualie - nisbet is infinately prettier.
