Hi all,
I've read that the beaches are not great on Nevis. It's my first trip and honeymoon to the Carribean and for the money I'm spending, I want a guarantee of a quiet,beach area with no kids. Nevis sounds like just the place, but the beach is not that great? We were thinking of staying at Nisbet and driving to Pinneys beach. Is P-Beach nice? What color is the water? How long by car?
The other option is Turkasn Caico. The beach sounds wonderful and we are thinking of the Coral Gardens. But we wanta guarantee that it will be quiet. In those conods, do you hear the other people on top of you or to the side of you? My fiance and I want total privacy.
Sorry for all the questions, and I am nreally not as picky as I sound--only when I am spending a lot of $$$$

I've never been to Turks but have been to Nevis. Romance, privacy, peace are all in abundance in Nevis. There's also rainforest, volcano hiking. Pinney's Beach is beautiful. I can't guarantee no kids in Nevis, but there will more on Provo. The drive from Nisbet to Pinney's Beach is about 30 minutes. The roads are bumpy, but driving is okay. Nevis is pricey but it's worth it.
don't know why islandgirl never having been to provo thinks they have more kids. i was just there and really don't recall seeing kids at all; other than beautiful island children dressed in their school uniforms. beaches wants kids so don't try there. coral gardens is quite refined compared with most. didn't stay there dont know about noise. if you want go www.ocean point villas.com and try to get "the cottage" small, private, quiet, affordable,kitchen - no oven but has microwave and toaster oven. provo has a ton of of restaurnats of every description. try anacona for a very romantic dinner go in the day and choose your table.take a walk on the beach with your cocktail before dinner!! have a great honeymoon!!!!
