nightlife in Anguilla?

We are going to Anguilla in July and staying in Cap Juluca. Is there any nightlife or clubs anywhere on the island. We like to dance and can be nightowles. Also does anyone know what time the last ferry leaves from St. Maarten back to Anguilla? Thanks in advance for replies.

Wow, if you are looking for a lot of nightlife you may want to rethink your travel plans. Anguilla is a pretty quiet island - it's all about beaches (there are 35 of them) and restaurants (over 80 to choose from). For nighttime activity, such as it is, go to the Dune Preserve (near Cusinart). You might also find a couple of places in Sandy Ground where there might be a little more "activity" in the evenings but here again don't expect too much.

I believe the last ferry leaves St. Martin for Anguilla at 7PM.

We had fun at the pumphouse but it is definitely an island establishment and not a "club"

Well, I guess I can always spend a night or two on St. Maarten if I decide I want some nightlife. Mostly I want beautiful beaches and restaurants so it doesn't sound like I will be disappointed.

On Sandy Ground there is Elvis', the Pumphouse and Johnnos. On Sunday go to Scilly Cay for lobster and rum punches and dance in the sand to the Happy Hits. Expensive but worth it. Jazz at Johnnos on Sun Afternoon. There is normally entertainment on the island at a restaurant every night. When you get there check out the Anguilla travel planner magazine. Also checl out www.anguillaguide.con.
