It depends on what time of year you are going to Nevis as to how much a car will run you. Off season is less and you can bargain on the cost.
I think we paid $200+ per week for 2 weeks.
You can usually find the monkeys at the higher elevations, but even staying there for as long as we did, we only saw a few fleetingly from the car.
We saw more on St. Kitts. I think Golden Rock is one of the plantations where they are frequently seen.
