My husband and I are planning a vacation in October to Nevis. We plan to stay at the Nisbet Plantation. This hotel is owned by the same people who own The Reefs in Bermuda, where we stayed in March. The Reefs was wonderful--perfect for us. There doesn't seem to be much out in "e-mail land" on Nevis in general, and The Nisbet Plantation, in particular. Please give me your thoughts on the above. Thanks

You can find the Nisbet on the net at:

We have stayed there and it is very nice, pretty beach, pool, comfortable cottages, and delicious
food.
We stayed at Nisbet in July of 1997 and loved it. Would definitely return. Total privacy, excellent food and a fair wine list. A very charming place, while there we met David Dodwell, the owner of Nisbet and the Reefs, delightful guy. There is plenty to do in the way of relaxing fun, exploring, a few bars (Tequila Sheila's) and the town is really cute. Glad you found Nisbet over 4 Seasons. email me for specifics if you want, enjoy yourselves...
We're from the UK and stayed at Nisbet this Easter. Lovely house party atmosphere and excellent food. Only downside was poor snorkeling - the beach is a bit rocky - although the pool is good and right alongside the beach. If you wanted an alternative inland, the Montpelier Plantation looked good and very laid back (Princess Diana stayed there). On St Kitts we also liked the look of Rawlins Plantation. Unless you like large hotels steer clear of 4 Seasons!
