Need Trip Ideas For Late July
I've been diving through forum posts trying to find an existing post with similar wants and haven't been able to find anything yet. Wife and I are looking to take a trip/break in late July. We love the beach, quiet, warm weather, water and not having to do anything. Looking for any suggestions that would meet the following:
All inclusive - Food and Drink
Adult Only (we're in our 40s and enjoy a good time, but not looking for Raves)
5K or less for 7 or 8 days
Some character - i.e. not a huge hotel that looks like every other hotel. Private Hut or Bungalow would be ideal. No amenities necessary other than a clean bed, shower, toilet and I guess A/C would be necessary.
White Beaches with space between
Blue Water
A two person hammock
Beach Chairs
Safety
Some local look and feel maybe close to local bar/shops/vendors
We don't plan to do much other than eat, drink and relax.
If anyone knows of a place that can fulfill my list I would be grateful for your feedback!

Your wish list contradicts itself...
Adult Only & All Inclusives & Air Conditioning are more likely to be found in a mega resort property.
"Huts" and "bungalows" are more often independent, no AC, no AI, not a resort.

Take a look at places on the Cliffs in Negril Jamaica.
Here's one with really interesting bungalows (open air so no AC, and not all-inclusive but has a restaurant & bar on the property):

Cape santa maria resort, Long island, Bahamas. Perfect if you are looking for reasonably priced accommodations on a gorgeous perfectly white sand beach, beach chairs, beach hut. Restaurant on-site.

Thank you all for you ideas! I've been researching the Riviera Maya which is more resort-like but from what I have read should not be overrun with people in late July, early August due to the heat. I'll start researching the other suggestion as well. Thanks again!

Jamaica Inn located in Ocho Rios is all that you ask for. They have cottages that offer luxury and complete privacy. Can go all inclusive or not. Amazing restaurants just a ten minute cab away if you can drag yourself away from the peace and understated elegance that the Inn has to offer. Award winning spa, romantic dinners under the stars with music every night, stunning, intimate beach and service beyond belief. We are returning for our third time. The people on and off the property are welcoming and they just get it right each and every time. Last but not least is the staff. They make it even better... singing, smiling, bringing you breakfast with trays on their heads, eager to share their stories about island time, family, local places to dine, excursions to take, offering all that they have so that you can relax/play/eat and just enjoy their amazing home.
Have a great time wherever you choose and post a report when you get back!
