Need help planning 25th anniversary trip for next April (late April).

Jump to last reply

We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary at the end of April next year and we would like to plan a special trip (7-8 nights). We spent our honeymoon in Aruba (way before it became so developed and loved it) and over the years we have visited Cancun (hated it), the Bahamas and several Caribbean Islands (St. Thomas several times, St. John, St. Lucia, St. Martin, Martinique, and Barbados). We enjoy walking on the beach, comfortable accomodations (comparable to a Mariott standard but we also like a local flavor), good food, an island vibe, and prefer something that is not overly commercial/crowded with families and small kids. Our budget is around $4k for hotel and airfare. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
